Before booking
The operator’s agreement should tell you when cancellation deadlines fall, what happens to the deposit and how a date change is handled. Check third-party costs too: catering, an event service or a berth may follow different conditions.
When plans change
For a change to the day, give the operator your booking reference and the new request as soon as possible. Availability and the booking terms determine the answer. A larger party or another date needs revised confirmation.
Operational decisions
A coastal plan can change after the captain assesses the yacht and conditions. Before committing, read how the agreement deals with an alternative route, postponement or cancellation. These outcomes can have different terms, so clarify each one.
