Two outdoor levels and an interior between them
A Nice family holiday can use those settings differently rather than treating the yacht as one large gathering space. The higher deck provides an open view; the cockpit stays close to the interior; the lounge gives a sheltered alternative. Four guest rooms then add the private part of a stay, with the actual bed plan determining how comfortably the party shares it.
Four cabins do not mean one standard bed plan
Documented examples include different combinations of doubles, twins and additional berths. A multi-generation family can find that distribution helpful, provided the rooms suit the people using them. The route between decks also deserves attention for anyone who finds stairs difficult. An actual plan makes those relationships visible: bedrooms, bathrooms and the shared spaces can be judged together rather than through a sleeping total alone.
Make the first Nice day easy to join
For guests arriving from several hotels or a flight, a clear boarding window can be more valuable than an early distant destination. A short passage and a settled lunch allow people to unpack and adjust to being aboard. Villefranche or a suitable stop around Cap Ferrat can give the afternoon its setting, subject to conditions. Later days can take a different pace once the group has found its routine.
Choose the fit-out for the way the party hosts
Established Canados 86s have individual furnishings and refit histories. Some groups care most about dining together outside; others will use the saloon for a substantial part of the day. The current table, shade and seating should suit that preference. A larger 110 adds another scale and more varied cabin examples, while the 86 provides a more contained flybridge-yacht reference for a family-led brief.
Charter questions
Are four guest cabins enough to describe the sleeping plan?
No. Double and twin combinations differ, and some examples include additional berths. Compare the rooms and bathrooms with the people staying aboard.
